Brookridge Golf & Fitness is a private country club in the heart of Overland Park, KS. We offer 27 holes of golf, a full-service fitness center, three dining venues and swimming during the summer months.   • Line Cook/Prep Cook
      • Pay range $10-$12/Hour commensurate with experience.

      • Duties may include but are not limited to the following items:

      • Able to do repetitive work

      • Able to prepare food according to food handlers guidelines

      • Knowledge of cooking procedures

      • Able to communicate with Prep Cooks & Wait staff

      • Knowledge of kitchen equipment

      • Knowledge of safety rules for kitchen equipment

      • Knowledge of where and how everything is stored

      • Label and date all food stored & Rotate food as needed

      • Able to lift 50 lbs

      • Flexible with job duties

      • Able to work all shifts and holidays

      • Arrive 15 minutes prior to assigned shift

      • Follow opening and closing procedures

      • Able to work in a high pace and hot environment

      • Able to multi-task

      • Stand and walk for long periods of time

      • Report to managers when something is broken or needs repair

      • Keep a clean, stocked and tidy workspace

      • Be able to self-motivate in work environment

      • Able to follow written or verbal instructions

  • Outside Operations Staff Member
    • Provide bag, cart and range services to members and guests.

      Primary Tasks:

      • Brings carts from cart shelter to cart staging area outside golf shop; checks carts for tire pressure, brake operation and other safety concerns.

      • Loads bags from bag storage room onto carts.

      • Transports range balls to each end of range and fills appropriate containers.

      • Places baskets of balls at evenly spaced intervals on range.

      • Operate ball picker on range to retrieve balls.

      • Washes all range balls daily.

      • Removes bags from carts and returns bags to assigned rack in bag storage room.

      • Returns carts to cart shelter; removes towels, pencils, score cards, tees, drink cans, etc., from carts and saves reusable items; checks carts for abuse; washes cart with pressure cleaner; parks cart in shelter and connects charger cable.

      • Advises golf shop of lost and found clubs.

      • Cleans all clubs for members and guests; cleans and maintains the club’s rental equipment.

      • Maintains cleanliness of and order in bag storage room.

      • Attends staff meetings.

      • Performs other appropriate tasks as assigned by assistant golf professional.

      Physical Demands:

      • Stand for long periods of time

      • Must be able to pick up large boxes (40 lbs)

      • Must be able to swing a golf club

  • Golf Course Grounds Staff
    • Maintain golf course and landscaping around the course, clubhouse and other club facilities, including parking lots.
      Job Tasks (Additional Responsibilities)

      • Operates light equipment such as a grass trimmer.

      • Performs maintenance on grounds such as limb removal or clean up.

      • Rakes and blows leaves.

      • Prepares and lays sod.

      • Must completely understand the importance of safety protocol while operating any equipment.

      • Rakes bunkers.

      • Loads and unloads materials.

      • Repairs turf problems.

      • Operates walk-behind equipment.

      • Helps with drainage projects.

      • Creek clean up.

      • Attends staff meetings.

      • Performs other appropriate tasks assigned by the Assistant Superintendents.

      Part-time/Seasonal
      compensation: 9.00-13.00 per hour Depending on Experience / 20-40 hours per week
